A charity event is at d preparation stage. No, not the one I mentioned in my earlier post. This one is in our company, for terror employees n their families, organised by the ACT grp. U know, the Iron Chef / Food apprentice thingy. Well, on that day, to entertain guests and apprentices alike, they’re gonna have stage performances, and 1 part (finale) will be a band and singing performance by some of our own ppl.
I was roped in to sibuk around. Anyway, last wkend, we went RBing for song selection (supposedly for the event :P), and for the 1st time, I hear them sing. Wow! I mean, wow! 2 of em, distinctly have Idol potential!! Vocal quality, control, sustain, solid falsettos – semua ada. Impressed. We’re still short of a guitarist and hunting for 1, and I hope things work out for this team. (1 guy we approached, rgded the event “too small” for his participation). You see, there are many other skilled and talented guitarists in our midst, but not easy to find one willing to offer his time/effort to help out in “small event” such as this. Unfortunately. [Yep.. d reason for my recent emo post...]
I mean, come on - this is for a charity event!
Anyway, what I intended to say is that, I’m happy to know that there are so many talented young ppl WITH HEART amongst us. I feel honoured. I feel blessed. And I will help them as much as I can [ I’m kicking myself for dropping guitar 15yrs ago. Dad told me I'd regret it 1 day. Today is that day! :( ]

Shd get an answer today fr Hedge Head wrt d prac venue. If ok, no need sponsor. If not, no worries, gettin sponsors is pis of kek. :P

Help? How when you're not on the stage? Gather your guts and throw them on the stage and let the world see how a mother of two still shines through the years ahead :)

everyone has their own view and goals. there's nothing wrong for them to reject such events as well (at least from my point of view la :p)
It's good to see that there're still people like you that are so committed in giving back something in a charity event. :)

And I am learning keyboard now. Don't kick yourself, or else I'll kick my own self for having dropping piano lessons twice (when I was 9 and 19). I'd pray I won't drop keyboard when I am 29. Hahaha...
