This was our home cooked lunch and dinner, last Sunday.  But I didn't cook them.

Guess who did? :P

That's Sweet n sour fried Ikan bawal hitam, with green choy sum, longan/herbal soup and some chili padi - for lunch.

And fermented red wine chic, cabbage/fujok/carrot fried with prawns, n same soup - for dinner.

Hee hee hee!  Yum Yum!

KK: Somebody's grinning fr ear to ear reading ur comment. :P I remember u kept saying he "spoil the market!" hahaha Let me recall - those days, i prepared d ingredients (throwin a whole bunch of vege out d window screamin bloody murder when i got worms on my hand), he cooked, we all ate, u did d dishes. Great teamwork!! :)

Yah. rain sipping thru d windows like waterfall (literally - NO KIDDING!) was outrageous n so totally comical - thinking back.

I miss the red chicken that Toon cooks...really a great unique dish. When I say a food is good, it is compared to many other food around the best restaurant in Asia you know... guess that's the secret to win a woman's heart is through the cooking. The good old days in Kenanga, patching up windows that leak water when it rains was the second most memorable aside from that great red chicken.
madman @ Thu 05-10-06 08:34PM
Yea... But it's still not halal ;P
Gnap @ Thu 05-10-06 09:22AM
It is not too red. It is a HokChiew delicacy. Think it's like that one. :P
ACheat.Net @ Thu 05-10-06 09:12AM
If it is not you, then your hubby cooked it.

The chicken seems too "red".
Elephunk @ Thu 05-10-06 08:50AM
That is one VERY RED dish
